Kingdom Bank, a subsidiary of the Co-operative Bank of Kenya, is hiring a Relationship Manager (RM) – Sales for its Women Banking team.

You will drive profitable Women Banking sales across the Bank's regions and branches. You will build a disciplined sales pipeline, coach branch teams to convert more leads, grow relationships with priority clients, and make sure the portfolio grows in a healthy, sustainable way. Branches remain the main owners of customer relationships and day-to-day delivery.

Reports to: Lead, Women Banking & Financial Inclusion

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Sales planning and pipeline
- Turn the Women Banking plan into regional and branch targets for new customers, active customers, deposits, quality lending, fee income and products per customer.
- Keep a stage-by-stage sales pipeline and run weekly reviews of it.
- Coordinate campaigns, calling plans and activations with the Partnerships, Product, Digital and Marketing teams.

Supporting branches
- Run branch and regional performance reviews and agree recovery plans where targets are missed.
- Coach bankers in needs-based selling, conversations centred on women customers, lead management, product bundling and responsible selling.
- Provide tools, scripts and lists of opportunities, and share what works across regions.

Winning, growing and keeping customers
- Drive the recruitment and activation of new women customers and women-led businesses.
- Grow relationships through deposits, payments, lending, insurance, digital services and non-financial support.
- Coordinate customer retention, reducing dormant accounts and winning back lost customers.

Credit conversion and portfolio quality
- Improve the quality of loan applications and track them from lead to disbursement.
- Speed up approved loans that haven't been paid out and reduce avoidable delays.
- Watch early-warning signs, arrears and loan conditions, and coordinate action to prevent problems.

Customer experience and sales controls
- Make sure KYC, pricing, disclosure, consent, suitability and documentation standards are met.
- Monitor complaints, turnaround times and customers who drop out, and address barriers specific to women.

Performance insight
- Analyse branch productivity, where leads are lost and how campaigns perform.
- Share what frontline teams learn from customers with the Product, Digital and Partnerships teams.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, marketing or a related field.
- At least 5 years' experience in banking sales, relationship management or branch or business development.
- Proven experience in pipeline management, credit origination and growing a portfolio.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Frequent travel to branches and regional offices.
- Regular customer visits for recruitment, business reviews and building the pipeline.
- Taking part in sales campaigns, exhibitions, networking forums and customer events.
- Occasional work outside normal hours during customer events and activations.
- A high level of professionalism and confidentiality with customer and business information.
- Championing digital banking and other non-branch channels among Women Banking customers.
