Kingdom Bank, a subsidiary of the Co-operative Bank of Kenya, is hiring a Relationship Manager (RM) – Partnerships for its Women Banking team.

You will build and manage a network of strategic partners, referral sources and sector forums that help the Bank reach more women and women-led businesses. The role brings in qualified business opportunities and delivers measurable value for both the Bank and its customers.

Reports to: Lead, Women Banking & Financial Inclusion
Location: Head Office, Kilimani, Nairobi

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Partnership strategy and new partners
- Map priority sectors, value chains and networks of women entrepreneurs, and keep a risk-rated pipeline of potential partners.
- Build relationships with associations, corporates, aggregators, fintechs, insurers, development partners, government agencies, incubators, employers, professional bodies, chamas, SACCOs and market-access platforms.
- Prepare value propositions and business cases covering customer need, economics, lead potential, risks and expected impact.

Due diligence and governance
- Coordinate commercial, legal, compliance, procurement, data-privacy and operational due diligence on partners.
- Set referral rules, customer consent, service levels, data-sharing controls and exit terms.
- Keep signed agreements, partner records and governance calendars up to date.

Partner activation and referrals
- Develop joint activation plans, including women's forums, financial education, campaigns and value-chain events.
- Send consented, qualified leads to branches and track each one through to conversion.
- Give regions and branches partner briefs, referral guidelines and engagement calendars.

Relationship management
- Manage senior partner relationships and run quarterly business reviews.
- Find ways to serve partner-linked customers better through finance, payments, insurance, digital services and non-financial support.

Performance and learning
- Measure partner productivity, lead conversion, customer reach, cost and return on each partnership.
- Recommend whether to scale up, fix or exit partnerships.
- Share market trends and customer insights with the Product, Sales and Digital teams.

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, finance, economics or a related field.
- At least 5 years' experience in partnerships, business development, relationship management or financial services.
- Experience in commercial negotiation, stakeholder management and pipeline management.

WORKING CONDITIONS
- Frequent travel to branches, partner organizations, networking forums, conferences and events across Kenya.
- Some stakeholder engagements outside normal working hours.
- Representing the Bank at women's entrepreneurship, financial inclusion and partnership forums.
- Regular contact with development partners, government agencies, business associations, corporates and NGOs.
- A high level of confidentiality, professionalism and judgement when handling partnership agreements.
