Key responsibilities

• Execute calibration work as per the schedule

• Responsible for all equipment maintenance, calibration and inventory management

• Responsible for requisition of Inventory items for Inspection

• Spearhead necessary logistics required for execution

• Prepare and submit to H&S (Health and Safety) department : risk assessments , job safety analysis and travel management plan (in case of travel

• Uphold and exercise safe work practices during calibration assignments

• Identify personal training needs and apply for NITA sponsorship to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the execution of field operations

• Where assigned the rights, to take responsibility in invoicing all jobs done.

• Ensure all Invoices are sent to the client Immediately after Issuance

• Follow up with clients for LPO copies which have not been shared/ Issued

• Develop SMART work plan tailored for specific equipment/ region under Inspection from time to time to meet client ‘s needs

• Fully comply with guidelines in business ethics and the SGS code of ethics.

• Ensure that all the inspection work operations and activities are carried out in-line with the ISO 17020 standard.

• Attend all Safety and Integrity Talks across the Year and sign the Annex B forms.

• Adhere to and ensure adherence of team to all H&S procedures and protocols.

• Ensure compliance to SGS Operational Integrity requirements and meet KPIs of the same.

• Perform any other task that may be assigned for successful operation of company business.

• Minimum qualification of a Diploma in Engineering/Mathematics/Physics course

• Experience in calibration of meters and tanks and other measuring devices

• Basic knowledge and training in legal metrology is preferred.

• Knowledge in local and International Standards governing best Engineering practices

• Must hold a valid driving license

• Proficient in written and verbal English

• Must be willing to be deployed to any region across the country besides normal residence

• This opportunity is offered on a fixed-term contract and requires flexibility to travel. The successful candidate should be comfortable with approximately 40% travel, both locally and internationally, as part of the role.
